Affiliate Program Terms of Service

1. Agreement Overview

By signing up as an affiliate with Student Built Sites, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Affiliate Program Agreement. This agreement is between Student Built Sites (“Company”) and you (“Affiliate”).

2. Affiliate Responsibilities

2.1. Promotion: As an affiliate, you agree to actively and ethically promote Student Built Sites’s products/services in accordance with our brand guidelines.

2.2. Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, privacy laws and anti-spam regulations.

2.3. Ethical Conduct: You shall conduct yourself with honesty and integrity, refraining from misleading or deceptive marketing practices.

3. Commissions and Payouts

3.1. Commission Structure: Commissions will be paid based on Student Built Sites’s standard affiliate commission structure, as outlined on our official website.

3.2. Payouts: Payouts will be made as determined by Student Built Sites, subject to a minimum payout threshold of $50. Payment methods and details will be specified in your affiliate dashboard.

3.3. Refunds and Chargebacks: Commissions may be subject to adjustments for refunds or chargebacks.

4. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason by providing written notice. Upon termination, you shall cease using all affiliate links and refrain from representing yourself as an affiliate of Student Built Sites.

5. Intellectual Property

You acknowledge that all intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, and marketing materials, belongs to Student Built Sites. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use these materials solely for the purpose of promoting Student Built Sites.

6. Modification of Terms

Student Built Sites reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the affiliate program constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

7. Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared by Student Built Sites, including but not limited to commission rates and business strategies.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Port Angeles, Washington.

By signing up as an affiliate, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Terms of Service for Businesses Signing Up for a Student Built Site

By signing up for a website through Student Built Sites, you (“Client”) are entering into a service agreement (“Agreement”) with Student Built Sites (“Provider”). This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which you agree to use our services.

1. Services Provided

Student Built Sites offers website design and development services provided by students under professional supervision. Our primary service includes the creation of a website according to the specifications provided by the Client.

2. Add-Ons

2.1. Additional features, functionalities, or services, collectively referred to as “Add-Ons,” are available to Clients at an additional cost. Add-Ons are separate products from the student-built website package and are not included in the initial website design and development fee.

2.2. The availability, specifications, and prices of Add-Ons are subject to change. Student Built Sites reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or adjust the prices of these Add-Ons without prior notice.

3. Fees and Payment

3.1. The Client agrees to pay all fees associated with the website design and development, as well as any additional fees for requested Add-Ons.

3.2. Payment terms, including deadlines, methods of payment, and any applicable taxes, will be specified in the service agreement or invoice provided to the Client.

4. Term and Termination

This Agreement is effective upon the Client’s acceptance and remains in effect until the completion of the services, unless terminated earlier by either party in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

5. Changes to Terms of Service

5.1. Student Built Sites reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time, under its sole discretion. Any changes to the Terms of Service will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or by direct communication to the Client.

5.2. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Client retains ownership of all intellectual property rights in any content provided to Student Built Sites for the purpose of website development. The Client grants Student Built Sites a limited license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Student Built Sites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Student Built Sites operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Acknowledgement

By signing up for a student-built site, the Client acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Apprenticeship Program Terms of Service

Congratulations on your acceptance into our Apprenticeship Program. This document outlines the Terms of Service (“Terms”) that govern your participation in the program provided by Student Built Sites (“we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in this program, you (“Student”, “you”) agree to abide by these Terms, which form a binding legal agreement between you and Student Built Sites.

1. Program Overview

The Apprenticeship Program is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in Website Design. Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from professionals in the field, and gain valuable skills that will aid in their future careers.

2. Acceptance and Commitment

2.1. By accepting your place in the Apprenticeship Program, you commit to participating fully and adhering to the program schedule, which includes all requirements such as workshops, meetings, zoom calls, project deadlines, etc. as outlined in your Student Handbook.  

2.2. You agree to communicate promptly and professionally with program staff, mentors, and peers, and to notify us of any issues that may impact your participation in the program.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1. Any work you create as part of the Apprenticeship Program, including but not limited to projects, designs, code, documents, and reports, shall be subject to the Student Built Sites intellectual property arrangements outlined in your Student Handbook.

3.2. You agree to respect the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents. Any use of third-party materials will be in accordance with applicable laws and licensing agreements.

4. Confidentiality

4.1. During your apprenticeship, you may have access to confidential information related to our organization, our clients, or our partners. You agree to keep this information confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without explicit written permission from Student Built Sites.

5. Conduct

5.1. You are expected to maintain a high standard of professional behavior throughout the program. This includes respecting your peers, mentors, and all individuals you interact with as part of the program.

5.2. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unethical behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the program.

6. Termination

6.1. Student Built Sites reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Apprenticeship Program at any time for failure to comply with these Terms, failure to meet the program requirements, or any behavior that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the program, other participants, or our organization.

7. Changes to Terms

7.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes and your continued participation in the program will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Port Angeles, Washington without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

9. Acknowledgment

By participating in the Apprenticeship Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
