1. Agreement Overview

By signing up as an affiliate with Student Built Sites, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Affiliate Program Agreement. This agreement is between Student Built Sites (“Company”) and you (“Affiliate”).

2. Affiliate Responsibilities

  • Promotion: You agree to actively and ethically promote Student Built Sites’s products/services in accordance with our brand guidelines.
  • Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to privacy and anti-spam laws.
  • Ethical Conduct: You agree to conduct yourself with integrity and avoid any misleading or deceptive tactics that misrepresent our offerings.
  • Misuse and Fraud: Abuse of affiliate links, commission manipulation, or misrepresentation of affiliation will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of earned commissions.

3. Commissions and Payouts

  • Commission Structure: Commissions will be paid based on the standard affiliate structure outlined on our website.
  • Payouts: Payments are made as determined by Student Built Sites, subject to a minimum threshold of $50.
  • Refunds and Chargebacks: Commissions may be revoked for any sales later refunded, charged back, or found to be fraudulent.

4. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice. All affiliate links must be removed immediately upon termination. Any outstanding violations may result in withheld commissions.

5. Intellectual Property

Affiliates may use approved logos and promotional materials. These remain the property of Student Built Sites and may not be modified without written consent.

6. Modification of Terms

Student Built Sites may update these terms at any time. Continued participation after notice of such changes implies acceptance.

7. Confidentiality

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of non-public information, including but not limited to marketing strategy, payout structures, and platform access.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Kootenai County, Idaho.

9. Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.

10. Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the full understanding between the Company and Affiliate and supersedes all prior verbal or written communications.

Terms of Service for Businesses Signing Up for a Student Built Site

1. Services Provided

Student Built Sites provides supervised student-led website design and development. Final deliverables are based on Client-submitted content and project scope agreed upon in writing. Services are provided only to the individual or entity named in the agreement and may not be reassigned or transferred without express written permission.

2. Add-Ons

  • 2.1. Add-Ons are available separately and subject to additional cost.
  • 2.2. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
  • 2.3. Add-Ons purchased are tied to the original project and non-transferable to other accounts or domains.

3. Fees and Payment

  • 3.1. The Client agrees to pay in full for services and Add-Ons.
  • 3.2. Payment terms and applicable taxes are listed in the provided invoice.
  • 3.3. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued due to the educational and digital delivery model. Clients must review their proposal thoroughly.
  • 3.4. Payment toward any invoice constitutes full acceptance of these Terms of Service and binds the client to all clauses herein. No verbal arrangements or alternate interpretations shall supersede the invoice terms.

4. Term and Termination

This Agreement becomes active upon payment or written confirmation. Services may be canceled by either party, but any work completed to date will remain non-refundable. If client delays, defers, or abandons a project without written notice for more than 30 days, the project will be considered fulfilled to the extent completed and closed.

5. Changes to Terms of Service

  • 5.1. Terms may be modified at any time. It is the Client’s responsibility to remain in compliance with the most current version of the Terms of Service, which is accessible at the footer of our website.
  • 5.2. Continued use after updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Client retains rights to provided content. Student Built Sites is granted a limited license to use submitted materials for service delivery only. Any content, creative assets, or digital deliverables produced by Student Built Sites to promote or serve the Client shall remain the sole property of Student Built Sites until the Client has paid in full for the corresponding service. Ownership will be transferred to the Client only upon receipt of full payment. In the event of contract breach, misconduct, or voluntary severance of the relationship by the Client for any reason, Student Built Sites retains full ownership and the Client forfeits all rights to previously created content.

7. Limitation of Liability

Student Built Sites shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Client accepts that student-led work may require supervision or refinement. The Client acknowledges that visual outcomes and business results may vary based on industry, competition, and user participation.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Kootenai County, Idaho.

9. Acknowledgement

By making payment or confirming service, the Client agrees to these Terms.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.

11. Entire Agreement

This document and any related proposals constitute the entire agreement. No oral or informal statement will override these terms without written confirmation by both parties.

1. Program Overview

The program offers guided, real-world experience in web development under professional mentorship.

2. Acceptance and Commitment

  • 2.1. Students agree to fully participate, including attending required sessions and meeting deadlines.
  • 2.2. Prompt and respectful communication with staff and peers is expected.
  • 2.3. Student progress may be tracked, and failure to attend scheduled calls or workshops without communication may result in dismissal.

3. Intellectual Property

  • 3.1. Work created during the program may be used for training, evaluation, and promotional purposes.
  • 3.2. Students may not plagiarize or misappropriate others’ work. All original content submitted remains under Student Built Sites’ mentorship usage rights unless otherwise released in writing.

4. Confidentiality

Any sensitive information obtained during the program must remain confidential. This includes but is not limited to client information, internal systems, pricing, and processes.

5. Conduct

  • 5.1. Professional behavior is required.
  • 5.2. Disrespect, harassment, or failure to meet program standards may result in dismissal.
  • 5.3. Participation in any form of deceptive representation of work (e.g., presenting external work as your own) is grounds for immediate removal.

6. Termination

Student Built Sites may remove any participant who fails to meet expectations, violates conduct policies, or disrupts the program.

7. Changes to Terms

Student Built Sites may update these terms at any time. Participation following notice constitutes agreement.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kootenai County, Idaho.

By participating, you agree to follow these Terms.
